Laser Surgery
When it's more than just your pet.
The CO2 Laser has been used in the Medical Profession for over 20 years. It has been proven to be an effective surgical device. This technology and surgical advantages are now available for your pet.

Benefits of Laser Surgery Decreased Post-Op Pain - Laser energy seals nerve endings. Decreased swelling - Reduced trauma to tissue Less bleeding - The laser energy seals small blood vessels as it cuts during surgery. Reduced infection - The laser energy sterilizes as it is used, killing bacteria that can cause an infection. Quicker recovery - With less bleeding, swelling, and pain the patient can resume normal activity at a faster rate.

How does the laser work? The laser energy is focused through a hand piece. With a focused spot size of 0.2mm in diameter this energy takes the place of a scalpel. It becomes a non-contact surgical tool where the laser energy instantly vaporizes the intracellular water in tissue. This energy also sterilizes and seals small blood vessels as it cuts. With laser surgery there is no bruising or tearing of tissue.

Laser Surgery We are excited to now offer our clients a higher level of care for their pets. Using the laser makes most procedures quick and easy with minimal pain. Ask if your pet's surgical procedure can be done with our laser!
